Think of your TallyAge™ like the credit score for your body - it’s a changeable metric that can indicate overall health and is influenced by various factors. It’s important to remember that health-promoting lifestyle habits can impact your epigenetic age. That means that the changes you make in your diet, exercise routine, and the quality of your sleep can have an impact on your TallyAge™.

TallyAge™ score not what you were expecting? 

No need to fret. What is most important is how your TallyAge™ age changes over time. Just like any other test or measurement, fluctuations are to be expected. Over time, however, an overall trend will emerge that will provide helpful information about your trajectory. Keep in mind that your TallyAge™ score is a snapshot in time from when you sent in your DNA sample. With healthy diet, exercise, and sleeping habits, positive trends in TallyAge™ scores over time can emerge.

What does it mean if your TallyAge™ is the same as your chronological age?

This means that your DNA methylation profile most closely resembles someone that is your chronological age. While one way to interpret this is that you are epigenetically aging as expected, this may also indicate that could reduce your epigenetic age further via different lifestyle interventions.
